Yael Venezia

Teacher | Artistic Consultant | Rehearsal Director

Teaches composition and improvisation at the Kibbutzim College - Arts Faculty. Yael is a certified therapist and instructor for Ilan Lev’s method and the Feldenkrais Method. She was part of Anat Danieli’s Dance Group Israel, and the 'Synapse Global Motion Dance Company New York. Yael was the rehearsal director at the 'Batsheva' Ensemble Young Company, directed by Ohad Naharin & Naomi Perlov, Anat Danieli Dance group, ‘Muza’ Dance Group and at the 'Maslool' - professional training program, Tel Aviv, directed by Naomi Perlov & Offir Dagan.

As a dramaturge, Yael is assisting, consulting and collaborating with different choreographers such as: Ronit Ziv, Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor. She is assisting and consulting Michael Getman since 2012.

Naomi Perlov

Artistic Director at Suzanne Dellal Center

Naomi Perlov was born in Israel in 1959.She is the daughter of a Polish mother and a Brazilian father.

She studied Dance at ‘Bat Dor’ School – Tel-Aviv, ‘Schola Cantorum’ – Paris and 'Milton Myers' – New York.

In 1984 she graduated with Honors from ‘The Benesh Institute of Choreology (Dance Notation). From 1994-98 she served as the Co-Artistic Director of the 'Batsheva' Ensemble Young Company with Ohad Naharin.

Since 1988 she has worked with the choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, assisting in his creations and restaging his ballets all over the world. From 1999-2006, she served as artistic director for the biannual "Shades in Dance" contest for young Israeli artists at the Suzanne Dellal Centre. In September 2009 founded “The Maslool”-  two years Professional Dance Program at “Bikurey Ha’Itim” Arts Center- Tel-Aviv-Jaffa. 

'The Maslool is artistically directed by Perlov and Mr. Offir Dagan and supported by the Minister of Culture of Israel since 2011.
In 2015, together with Sharon Rubinov Biderman, she established Deconstruction - A Methodological Course for Dance Teachers which provides methodological tools for formulating lesson plans and annual curriculums, knowledge in implementation of corrections, encourages and emphasizes the artistic aspects of rehearsal directing.In conjunction with her work as artistic director, rehearsal director and judge in dance contests, Naomi teaches modern dance and trains dancers in many courses and workshops.

Ariel Gelbart

Dancer | Teacher

Between the years of 2012-2014 Ariel attended the "Maslool Professional Dance Program" under the artistic direction of Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. He served in the IDF as a privileged outstanding dancer.

In 2014-2017 Ariel danced with The Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company,  And in the years

2017-2020 Ariel danced for Batsheva Dance Company “the young ensemble”.

Since 2020 Ariel has been freelancing with several choreographers, among them: Eyal Dadon (SOL Dance

Company), Adi Boutrous, May Zarhi. In 2021 Ariel was invited to work with the choreographer Michael Getman

on the solo production First Things.

Gloria De Angeli

International Relations

Gloria De Angeli is an expert in project management for live performances. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences focusing on performing arts from the University of Studies "Carlo Bo" in Urbino and a master's degree in Theatre Disciplines with a dance specialization from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, where she graduated with honors. She was an organizational assistant at the National Production Center for Body Languages and Dance in Florence from 2009 to 2011. Gloria has been the assistant artistic director at Hangartfest, an international contemporary dance festival in Pesaro, since 2011. She has collaborated with the Aenigma University Theater Association in Urbino since 2012, focusing on inclusive education and theater. Gloria created and curated the "April 29 | Day of Dance" project in 2016. She has been President of the Cultural Association INDEPENDENCE since 2006, actively promoting dance culture. Gloria completed the Danzeducatore® course in 2018/2019 and "Dance Well - Movement and Research for Parkinson's" in 2021. Additionally, Gloria leads creative dance workshops for individuals of all ages and abilities. Currently, she is an assistant and production director on various projects at the Accademia sull'arte del gesto, a community-focused initiative by Virgilio Sieni, and with the choreographer Michael Getman. Gloria's passion extends to leading creative dance workshops, catering to individuals of all ages and diverse abilities.

Video Artist

Idan Herson is an Israeli multidisciplinary artist who worked as a stage light designer and technician but mostly specializes in photography, video editing, and after-effects. He studied animation at Tel-Hai College, multidisciplinary art at the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem, and programming at John Bryce College.
As a freelancer, he has filmed and edited numerous shows and created video art for stage works, music videos, performances, and more.
He has collaborated with Machol Shalem Dance House, Seminar HaKibbutzim Michael Getman, and Sofia Kranz.
Today Idan works as a motion designer and editor for different video production companies, produces and creates videos and trailers for dance companies all around the world as well as creating short videos for advertisement. 

Idan Herson

Talia Paz

Solist Dancer | Creater | Teacher

Talia Paz was born in New York and trained in Israel and the Netherlands. She danced with 'Batsheva' Dance Company (3 years), Scapino Ballet (2 years), Cullberg Ballet (12 years) and DV8 (The Cost of Living 2003
European Tour). Her diverse repertoire includes works of Choreographers Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Carolyn Carlson, Mats Ek, Lloyd Newson, Nils Christe, Johan Inger, Jiri Kylian, Itzik Galili, Nigel Charnock, Stijn Celis
and others. Talia won many prizes in Europe and in Israel: two times awarded as the dancer of the year in
Sweden (1999, and 2001) by the Phillip Morris Ballet Flower Award, and the National Swedish Theater, and three times awarded prizes in Israel through 1994 - 2007.

Professor for Composition

Dániel Péter Biró is a Professor for Composition at the Grieg Academy, University of Bergen. He studied in the U.S., Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Israel before receiving his Ph.D. from Princeton University

in 2004. From 2004 -2009 he was Assistant Professor and from 2009-2018 Associate Professor for Composition and Music Theory at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC, Canada. In 2010 he received the Gigahertz Production Prize from the ZKM-Center for Art and Media. In 2011 he was Visiting Professor at Utrecht University and in 2014-2015 Research Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Harvard University. In 2015 he was elected to the College of New Scholars, Scientists and Artists of the Royal Society of Canada. In 2017 he was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship. Noa Mamrud

Dancer | Teacher

Born in 1988, Israel.  Recipient of scholarships for advanced studies for artists from Israel Lottery Council for

Culture and Art, The Cimetta Fund and The Braginsky Foundation. Graduate of the ‘Maslool’ professional training program, under the artistic direction of Naomi Perlov and Offir Dagan. Worked with the choreographers Sharon Vazanna, Barak Marshall and Saar Magal. Today Noa is dancing in the group Idan Sharabi & Dancers.

Collaborating with Michael Getman since 2013. 

Iwona Wojnicka

Performer | Choreographer

Specializes in Laban Movement Analysts. She started her career in physical mime and after a few years of stage

work, she turned into butoh. Working with Japanese butoh masters, she traveled performing around Europe.

Within one of these journeys, she acknowledges Laban methods. Soon after, she moved to Rotterdam, to develop

her knowledge in Codarts. She continues in a 4 year certificate course in LMA in Eurolab, in Berlin.

She specializes in LMA for choreography and uses this in her recent research on re-composition in dance. However, this is the German Ausdrucktanz that inspires her the last few years. In her stage works she combines empirical choreology, remake and space harmony.
